Condition: Excellent vintage condition, item has been well preserved. Some light scratches to the hardware, some light scratches to the bag exterior. Very minor wear to corners as shown in photos. Interior is clean and in excellent condition. The boutique serial sticker remains on the piece however it is split and shows age.

A rare and exceptionally beautiful vintage Chanel Caviar leather backpack, dating to approximately 1989–1991. Crafted in an elegant cognac/caramel brown, this substantial backpack showcases Chanel's iconic diamond quilting throughout the body and flap.
The front is distinguished by a large circular interlocking CC turn-lock in gold-tone hardware, while the drawstring closure adds structure and security. The back features Chanel's signature leather-and-chain shoulder straps, with substantial leather shoulder pads for comfortable wear.
The rich brown Caviar leather has a wonderful depth and natural sheen, making this an especially sophisticated alternative to the more commonly encountered black Chanel backpacks. The combination of early 1-series production, Caviar leather, 24k gold-plated hardware and the classic chain-and-leather construction makes this an excellent collector's piece.
The bag retains its original serial sticker and Chanel authenticity card, adding important provenance for a vintage Chanel collector.
