Serial: 0901-100-92 (this is a style number rather than a serial number) age of this piece is speculated to be from 1950-1970. It reads as more of a 1970's item rather than 1950 given the long shoulder strap.

A truly stunning vintage condition Gucci box calf leather purse. The colour alone on this piece is divine. The item is structurally sound with no lose threads, rips or tears. Box calf leather is very delicate and scratches easily so a vintage piece with box leather generally will have some scratches on it especially considering the age of this piece. This item is likely around 50 years old.
There is wear in the way of cracking on the leather top of one of the straps however this does not impact the integrity or functionality of this piece at this juncture. There may come a time down the road where this strap will require a restructure and I would recommend cutting down the strap and re-attaching to the bag side. The hardware is pristine with very minor hairline scratches. Interior of bag is clean with no stains/rips or tears along with the single pocket. Zipper on interior is fully functioning. Small leather pocket at interior is also remarkable. Corners and bottom of bag are immaculate.
Comparable items: Comparisons for this piece are a bit challenging as these items are rare. We were hard pressed to find a comparison that differs from our other Gucci listing and did not find anything in green leather making it quite rare.

Details: This is such a special piece and would do well with a true vintage lover. Vintage Gucci bags from this era feature timeless shapes and will stand the test of time structurally speaking. Gucci is often left out of the 24k gold plated hardware discussion but the pieces from this era are also gold plated. The outer GG logo link is really a highlight of this piece! This piece is likely around 60-75 years old and still functions with no issue which is a nod to impeccable craftsmanship from the house. Would look great with jeans and a t-shirt, a layered fall wool coat, tailored suit or a linen dress for some styling ideas. Timeless, effortless and a true beauty. An easy piece to dress up or down.
